Privacy policy

Only what you type into the form. Your name, your email address, the travel window, who you are travelling with, what the trip is for, an optional budget band and whatever you write in the message. Some forms on this site also carry the item you were looking at, a date or a number of people.

We do not ask for your telephone number, your address, your passport details or your date of birth, and there is nowhere on this site to enter a card number.

Separately, the site measures traffic in aggregate through Google Analytics. That tells us which pages are read and on what kind of device. It does not tell us who you are.

The licensed operator named in the legal notice, because they are the ones who make the booking. Where a booking is with a named partner, such as a driver for a transfer or the villa on a stay, that partner is given what they need to carry it out and nothing more.

Three third parties are involved in running the site itself. Google Analytics, for aggregate traffic measurement. Travelpayouts and Kiwi.com, whose live fare panel appears on the flights page and nowhere else, loaded in a frame from their own servers, which sets its own cookies and is governed by their privacy policies rather than by this one. And Viator, on the excursion pages, where following a booking link hands you to their site under their terms.

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write through <a href="/plan-with-meera/">the form</a> and say which. There is no charge and no form to fill in beyond the one.

If you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 applies to you. If you are reading this from the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation applies. We do not treat the two groups differently: the answer to a deletion request is the same either way, which is that we delete it.
