धन्यवाद। Received. Meera confirms the car and the exact total within a day.

Insurance, unlimited kilometres, a second driver, delivery and collection are all in the rate. Nothing is charged now and no deposit is held. You pay on the island.

How the price works

Four numbers, and none of them hidden.

The daily rate. From two days onward you pay the daily rate, times the number of days. A day runs from the hour you take the car to the same hour back, so an evening pick-up and an evening return is one day.

The single-day rate. One calendar day costs more than a day out of five, because the handover work is the same either way. It is a real number per car, not the daily rate with a percentage on top, and the calculator uses the right one automatically.

The card line. Paying by card adds four per cent. That is the bank's charge and it goes to the bank. Cash on the island avoids it entirely.

The rupee figure. Every euro price on this site carries an indicative rupee figure beside it, converted at the European Central Bank reference rate of 2026-09-01. It is there so you can think in your own money. It is not what your card will charge, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.

Before you send it

The five that come back at us.

Do you take a deposit?

No. We do not hold a deposit and we do not take a card number in advance. You pay when the car is handed to you, on the island.

How do we pay?

Cash or card, on the island, at handover. A card adds four per cent, which is the bank's charge rather than ours, and the calculator on this page shows that line before you send anything.

Can we take it to Praslin or La Digue?

Seven of the ten cars can be picked up on Praslin, with a three-day minimum because the car has to be positioned there. Cars are not carried across on the ferry by guests. La Digue restricts private cars almost entirely, so nobody hires one there. Take the bicycle, that is the point of La Digue.

Is there a kilometre limit?

No. Unlimited kilometres and insurance are both in the daily rate, and a second driver costs nothing. Put both names on the enquiry.

Can you bring the car to the airport, or to our hotel?

Yes, and it costs nothing extra. Give us the flight number and the car is at arrivals when you land. If your villa is at the end of an unnamed track, type the name into the form and we will find it.

Would you rather just ask?

Send Meera the dates and how many of you there are. She will say which car and what it costs, and nothing else.
