Berjaya Praslin Resort
Seventy-four rooms on the sand at Anse Volbert, with the highest score of any large hotel in the country. The front desk is the reason, and the reviews say so.

What Berjaya Praslin Resort is.
4.9out of 54,258 reviews on Googleread 2 September 2026
Berjaya sits directly on the sand at Anse Volbert, the long pale curve on Praslin's north coast, and you walk out of it onto the beach. It is a relaxed, unfussy resort of seventy-four rooms with two restaurants, a bar and a pool among the palms, rather than a polished five-star.
The number is the story. It holds 4.9 from more than four thousand Google reviews, which is the highest score of any large property in the Seychelles and very close to impossible. Almost nothing at this size scores this well anywhere.
The reason, read across those reviews, is the front desk. Guests describe a team that plans the island for them properly, points them at the right beaches and the honestly priced trips, holds luggage after checkout and treats people as people. We should also say the other thing the reviews say: the room stock is mixed, and some of the older categories feel dated beside the renovated ones. Ask what you are being given.
Where it stands.
Anse Volbert, also called Côte d'Or, is the main beach on Praslin's north coast and the launch point for the boat trips to Curieuse, Saint Pierre and La Digue. Shops, dive centres and restaurants line the road behind the sand. The Vallée de Mai, the palm forest where the coco de mer grows, is about fifteen minutes inland, and Anse Lazio is a short drive north.
What a week here feels like.
Unpretentious and extremely well placed. It is not the smartest hotel on the island and it does not charge as though it were. What you are buying is the beach at the door and a desk that knows the island.
Who it suits.
Families and couples who would rather have location and service than fittings. If the room finish matters more to you than the walk to the water, look at Le Duc or Acajou on the same bay.
What this means for you.
If you are on Praslin for three or four nights and want to see Curieuse, Saint Pierre and La Digue, this is the address that makes that easy, because it is where the boats go from and the desk books them. It is also the best value on this page for a family, and the money saved on the room buys the days out.
What guests actually wrote.
Two of the reviews on the listing, in the order Google shows them and in the words they were written in:
We stayed at Berjaya Praslin for 3 nights, and our experience was truly made special because of Bilal. He guided us so beautifully on how to explore Praslin in the most budget friendly way without missing any important spots.Michelle, Google review
The location is perfect for your stay in praslin. Great connectivity and right at the beach where all activities start. The staff was very kind to let us keep the baggage post check out and were very understanding.Manoj, Google review

How you arrive.
Praslin is reached from Mahé either by the fast ferry, about an hour from Victoria into Baie Sainte Anne, or by a fifteen-minute flight to the island's airstrip. The ferry is cheaper and shows you the sea. The flight is quicker and carries fifteen kilos a person, which is the figure that usually decides it for a family. We can arrange the transfer at both ends so the chain is not yours to assemble.

Booking and payment happen on SeyBooking.com, the licensed Seychelles operator, on Berjaya Praslin Resort's own listing there. We are a guide. We take no payment, hold no room and add nothing to the price, and the button on this page opens that listing so you can see the rate for your dates, which is a thing no guide page can honestly print. Most rooms show free cancellation, and the listing says so before you commit.

The six people ask.
Where is Berjaya Praslin Resort?
Anse Volbert, on Praslin. Praslin is reached from Mahé either by the fast ferry, about an hour from Victoria into Baie Sainte Anne, or by a fifteen-minute flight to the island's airstrip.
How big is it?
74 rooms and 148 beds, per the Seychelles tourism register. The room types and what is free on your dates are on the listing.
How is it rated, and by whom?
4.9 out of 5 on Google, from 4,258 Google reviews, read on 2 September 2026. That is Google's figure and not ours. We do not run a rating of our own, we do not average anything, and we do not publish a score we could not show you the source of.
How do I book it?
On SeyBooking.com, on Berjaya Praslin Resort's own listing there. The button on this page opens it. We take no payment on this site and there is no form on this page, because the room is not ours to sell.
Can you arrange the rest of the trip around it?
Yes, and that is the part we do run. The car, the airport transfer, the days out and, if that is why you are coming, the wedding. Book the room on the listing, then tell us the dates and we will build the rest around them at no extra cost.
We are vegetarian. Will the kitchen manage?
Probably, if you tell them early. A resort kitchen of this size will normally cook vegetarian without any fuss, and Jain is a longer conversation that needs to happen at the booking rather than at the first dinner. We are not going to claim more than that about a kitchen we have not spoken to. If the requirement is strict, look at the self-catering places on this page, where a kitchen of your own settles it.
