Lemuria spreads over a large green estate at Anse Kerlans on the north-west tip of Praslin, across three beaches, with rooms rising from garden suites to beachfront family villas with private pools. It holds 4.7 from close to thirteen hundred reviews.
Two things separate it from everything else in the country. It has the only eighteen-hole golf course in the Seychelles, with a driving range and tennis courts sharing the same views. And it has access to Anse Georgette, a beach regularly named among the most beautiful in the world and effectively reachable through the resort.
The reviews are consistent about the setting, the food across the several restaurants, and the small kindnesses from the beach and villa teams. For a property at this level to hold 4.7 across that many reviews is a genuine result.
Where it stands.
Anse Kerlans is on the north-west tip of Praslin, one of the greenest and quietest corners of the island, about twenty minutes by car from the ferry jetty at Baie Sainte Anne. Anse Georgette and Anse Lazio, two of the most admired beaches anywhere, are both close, and the Vallée de Mai palm forest is a short drive inland.

A large resort that does not feel large, because the estate is spread across three beaches and a golf course. You will use a buggy. The far end of the property is a genuine walk from the near end.

Families with the budget for a villa, golfers, and couples who want a beach almost nobody else can get to. It is the most complete resort on Praslin.

How you arrive.
Praslin is reached from Mahé either by the fast ferry, about an hour from Victoria into Baie Sainte Anne, or by a fifteen-minute flight to the island's airstrip. The ferry is cheaper and shows you the sea. The flight is quicker and carries fifteen kilos a person, which is the figure that usually decides it for a family.
