Cabanes des Anges
A small guesthouse at Anse Réunion with its own garden and a pool open around the clock, a short walk from the jetty. Guests come back to it, which is the whole review.

What Cabanes des Anges is.
4.7out of 5214 reviews on Googleread 2 September 2026
Cabanes des Anges is a nine-room guesthouse at Anse Réunion on La Digue, with its own green garden and a small swimming pool that stays open around the clock. It holds 4.7 from more than two hundred reviews, which for a nine-room property is a substantial record.
The rooms are modern, clean and spacious, and the whole place is exceptionally well kept. Breakfast draws warm reviews, generous and varied, and guests keep singling out the banana smoothie, which is the sort of specific detail that only appears when something is genuinely good.
Nadine and her team are the theme of the reviews, described as warm and genuinely helpful, and a striking number of the reviews are written by people on a second or third stay. On an island most people visit once, that is worth noticing.
Where it stands.
Anse Réunion is on the west coast of La Digue, a short walk or cycle from La Passe and the jetty. The island is small and mostly car-free and the way to get about is by bicycle. Just south are L'Union Estate, the old coconut and vanilla plantation, and Anse Source d'Argent, one of the most photographed beaches in the world. Grand Anse and the wilder beaches are on the east coast.
What a week here feels like.
A guesthouse with a pool, which on La Digue is the useful middle: more comfort than a room in a family house, less remove than a resort. Everything is reached by bicycle and the bicycles are outside.
Who it suits.
Couples and families who want La Digue properly but would also like somewhere to swim when the tide is out. Good value by the island's standards, which are not low.
What this means for you.
La Digue is the island that ends up on everyone's photographs, and staying two nights rather than doing it as a day trip is the single best change most people can make to a Seychelles itinerary. A pool matters here more than you would expect, because Anse Source d'Argent goes very shallow at low tide and is a beach to look at rather than swim in. Ferry from Praslin, about fifteen minutes.
What guests actually wrote.
Two of the reviews on the listing, in the order Google shows them and in the words they were written in:
We stayed at Cabanes des Anges from February 4th to 11th with my two daughters, and we were truly impressed with our experience. Everything was exceptionally clean and very well maintained.Иван, Google review
An amazing place to stay. Everyone is super friendly here, the rooms are modern, clean and spacious enough. The breakfast was great, there was enough variety in it. They serve an amazing banana smoothie as well.Vivien, Google review

How you arrive.
There is no direct route from Mahé. You cross to Praslin first, by ferry or by air, then take the second ferry from Baie Sainte Anne to La Passe, which takes about fifteen minutes. There are no cars on La Digue, so the last part of the journey is on foot or by bicycle. We can put the whole chain together, including the bags.

Booking and payment happen on SeyBooking.com, the licensed Seychelles operator, on Cabanes des Anges's own listing there. We are a guide. We take no payment, hold no room and add nothing to the price, and the button on this page opens that listing so you can see the rate for your dates, which is a thing no guide page can honestly print. Most rooms show free cancellation, and the listing says so before you commit.

The six people ask.
Where is Cabanes des Anges?
Anse Reunion, on La Digue. There is no direct route from Mahé.
How big is it?
9 rooms and 18 beds, per the Seychelles tourism register. The room types and what is free on your dates are on the listing.
How is it rated, and by whom?
4.7 out of 5 on Google, from 214 Google reviews, read on 2 September 2026. That is Google's figure and not ours. We do not run a rating of our own, we do not average anything, and we do not publish a score we could not show you the source of.
How do I book it?
On SeyBooking.com, on Cabanes des Anges's own listing there. The button on this page opens it. We take no payment on this site and there is no form on this page, because the room is not ours to sell.
Can you arrange the rest of the trip around it?
Yes, and that is the part we do run. The car, the airport transfer, the days out and, if that is why you are coming, the wedding. Book the room on the listing, then tell us the dates and we will build the rest around them at no extra cost.
We are vegetarian. Will the kitchen manage?
It is a small house rather than a hotel kitchen, so ask directly when you book. Several of the small properties on this island cook to order for guests who ask in advance. What we will not do is promise you something on their behalf that nobody has told us.
