Nine rooms and the view

Château de Feuilles

A nine-room Relais and Châteaux house on the headland at Pointe Cabris, looking out over La Digue and the small islands. Guests argue it is the finest hotel view in the Seychelles.

The property

What Château de Feuilles is.

4.9out of 5155 reviews on Googleread 2 September 2026

Château de Feuilles is nine rooms and suites on a headland on the south-east coast of Praslin, set high enough to look across the sea to La Digue, Félicité and the scatter of small islands beyond. It reads as a private house rather than a hotel, which is what nine rooms buys you.

It holds 4.9 from more than a hundred and fifty reviews. Dinner is the recurring highlight: the chef changes the menu nightly and the reviews are full of guests being surprised by what arrived. The best suites have their own pool, and the hotel runs its own boat so guests can go out to the nearby islands.

The managers are named by guests, which at a nine-room hotel is the whole business model working correctly. The word that keeps coming back is personal.

The setting

Where it stands.

Pointe Cabris is a green headland above Baie Sainte Anne, the harbour where the ferries from Mahé and La Digue arrive, so the hotel is quiet and elevated but central to the island. Côte d'Or, Anse Lazio and the Vallée de Mai are all within reach, and the boat opens up the islands to the east.

The stay

What a week here feels like.

Being looked after by people who have nine rooms to think about and yours is one of them. There is no beach at the foot of the hotel, which is the trade: you are here for the view, the table and the boat.

Suitability

Who it suits.

Couples, and travellers who prefer a small house to a resort. Not the choice if you want to walk out of your room onto sand, and honest hotels do not pretend otherwise.

From India

What this means for you.

One of only three properties on this page with anything on record about dietary cooking, and here it is a guest review describing full care taken over dietary restrictions. At nine rooms with a chef who writes a new menu daily, a vegetarian or Jain requirement is a conversation rather than a problem, which is not something we can say about most kitchens on this island. Say it when you book, not on arrival.

The reviews

What guests actually wrote.

Two of the reviews on the listing, in the order Google shows them and in the words they were written in:

Pure idyllic romantic luxury. Amazing views, creative cocktails, delicious food, brilliant service - would give more than five stars if I could. It is so peaceful here.Sarah, Google review
We had the most incredible stay here! Prior to our arrival, the team was so communicative and patient in answering all of my many questions, which made us feel at ease even before we arrived.Colleen, Google review

Getting there

How you arrive.

Praslin is reached from Mahé either by the fast ferry, about an hour from Victoria into Baie Sainte Anne, or by a fifteen-minute flight to the island's airstrip. The ferry is cheaper and shows you the sea. The flight is quicker and carries fifteen kilos a person, which is the figure that usually decides it for a family. We can arrange the transfer at both ends so the chain is not yours to assemble.

The booking

Where the room is actually sold.

Booking and payment happen on SeyBooking.com, the licensed Seychelles operator, on Château de Feuilles's own listing there. We are a guide. We take no payment, hold no room and add nothing to the price, and the button on this page opens that listing so you can see the rate for your dates, which is a thing no guide page can honestly print. Most rooms show free cancellation, and the listing says so before you commit.

११Before you book

The six people ask.

Where is Château de Feuilles?

Pointe Cabris, on Praslin. Praslin is reached from Mahé either by the fast ferry, about an hour from Victoria into Baie Sainte Anne, or by a fifteen-minute flight to the island's airstrip.

How big is it?

9 rooms and 18 beds, per the Seychelles tourism register. The room types and what is free on your dates are on the listing.

How is it rated, and by whom?

4.9 out of 5 on Google, from 155 Google reviews, read on 2 September 2026. That is Google's figure and not ours. We do not run a rating of our own, we do not average anything, and we do not publish a score we could not show you the source of.

How do I book it?

On SeyBooking.com, on Château de Feuilles's own listing there. The button on this page opens it. We take no payment on this site and there is no form on this page, because the room is not ours to sell.

Can you arrange the rest of the trip around it?

Yes, and that is the part we do run. The car, the airport transfer, the days out and, if that is why you are coming, the wedding. Book the room on the listing, then tell us the dates and we will build the rest around them at no extra cost.

We are vegetarian. Will the kitchen manage?

Yes, and this is one of the three properties on this site where that is on the record rather than assumed: a guest review on the listing describes full care taken over dietary restrictions. Say it when you book, and if the requirement is Jain, say what that means, because the word does not travel.

Room chosen. Now the week.

Book the room on the listing, then tell us your dates. The car, the transfer and the days out come back in one message, at no extra cost.
