Four Seasons Resort Seychelles

Sixty-seven villas and suites in the forest above Petite Anse, most with a private pool, and a cove at the bottom of the hill that guests routinely call the best beach they found on Mahé.

The property

What Four Seasons Resort Seychelles is.

4.6out of 51,007 reviews on Googleread 2 September 2026

Four Seasons is built into a steep green hillside above Petite Anse, on the south-west coast, and it is villas rather than rooms. Sixty-seven of them, tucked into the vegetation so that from the beach you can barely see the resort at all. Most have their own pool and a deck framing the bay.

It holds 4.6 from more than a thousand reviews. The theme of those reviews is privacy: guests describe a genuine sense of seclusion rather than the marketed kind, and more than one calls the cove at the foot of the hill the finest beach they found on the island. That cove is effectively the resort's own.

The service is what you would expect at this level and, by the reviews, generally what you get. It is a special-occasion hotel and it knows it.

The setting

Where it stands.

Petite Anse is a secluded bay near Baie Lazare, on the south-west coast, about forty minutes by car from the airport and Victoria. It is one of the greener and quieter parts of the main island, a coast of hidden coves and forested hillsides, with Anse Intendance and Anse Soleil a short drive away.

The stay

What a week here feels like.

A hill. That is not a complaint, it is the geography: the resort runs a buggy service because walking from the top villas to the beach is a real walk. What you get for it is a view from the bed that most hotels can only sell from the restaurant, and a beach that stays empty.

Suitability

Who it suits.

Honeymoons and milestone trips, first and foremost. Families are well looked after but the hillside is a factor with a toddler or with anyone who does not walk easily. Ask for a villa low on the slope if that is you.

From India

What this means for you.

The most-booked honeymoon address on Mahé for Indian couples, and the reason is the cove rather than the villa. Anywhere can give you a private pool. Very few places on this island can give you a beach with nobody else on it, which is what a couple who have just come through a three-hundred-guest wedding actually want. Forty minutes from the terminal, so take the transfer on the first night.

The reviews

What guests actually wrote.

Two of the reviews on the listing, in the order Google shows them and in the words they were written in:

The Four Seasons Hotel in the Seychelles is an absolute hidden paradise. The raw beauty is breathtaking, secluded waters wrapping around an isolated corner of the island, with sunsets that energize the soul.Amine, Google review
Our stay at Four Seasons Resort Seychelles was truly exceptional. The resort is set on a lush hillside overlooking a stunning turquoise bay, and the views from our villa were absolutely breathtaking.Graz, Google review

Getting there

How you arrive.

Mahé is the island the international flights land on, so there is no boat and no second flight in the way. The drive from the terminal is between twenty minutes and an hour depending on the coast. We arrange a private transfer that watches your flight number, which is worth having on the night you arrive and not much worth having after that.

The booking

Where the room is actually sold.

Booking and payment happen on SeyBooking.com, the licensed Seychelles operator, on Four Seasons Resort Seychelles's own listing there. We are a guide. We take no payment, hold no room and add nothing to the price, and the button on this page opens that listing so you can see the rate for your dates, which is a thing no guide page can honestly print. Most rooms show free cancellation, and the listing says so before you commit.

११Before you book

The six people ask.

Where is Four Seasons Resort Seychelles?

Petite Anse, on Mahé. Mahé is the island the international flights land on, so there is no boat and no second flight in the way.

How big is it?

67 rooms and 134 beds, per the Seychelles tourism register. The room types and what is free on your dates are on the listing.

How is it rated, and by whom?

4.6 out of 5 on Google, from 1,007 Google reviews, read on 2 September 2026. That is Google's figure and not ours. We do not run a rating of our own, we do not average anything, and we do not publish a score we could not show you the source of.

How do I book it?

On SeyBooking.com, on Four Seasons Resort Seychelles's own listing there. The button on this page opens it. We take no payment on this site and there is no form on this page, because the room is not ours to sell.

Can you arrange the rest of the trip around it?

Yes, and that is the part we do run. The car, the airport transfer, the days out and, if that is why you are coming, the wedding. Book the room on the listing, then tell us the dates and we will build the rest around them at no extra cost.

We are vegetarian. Will the kitchen manage?

Probably, if you tell them early. A resort kitchen of this size will normally cook vegetarian without any fuss, and Jain is a longer conversation that needs to happen at the booking rather than at the first dinner. We are not going to claim more than that about a kitchen we have not spoken to. If the requirement is strict, look at the self-catering places on this page, where a kitchen of your own settles it.

Room chosen. Now the week.

Book the room on the listing, then tell us your dates. The car, the transfer and the days out come back in one message, at no extra cost.
