The property

What Le Nautique Luxury Beachfront Apartments is.

4.9out of 5165 reviews on Googleread 2 September 2026

Le Nautique, which older guidebooks still call Driftwood, is eight apartments on the beach at Anse Royale on the south-east coast. Each has a full kitchen with an oven and a microwave, a proper bathroom and an ocean view from the bed. There is a pool looking over the sea, a barbecue, a covered communal seating area, a laundry and beach towels.

It holds 4.9 from more than a hundred and sixty reviews, the joint-highest figure on this page and remarkable for a property this small, where a single bad month would move the number visibly.

The hosts are the reason. Michelle and the team are named repeatedly, and the stories are specific rather than generic: a doctor found for a guest who fell ill, a wedding party run properly. That is a different kind of hospitality from a hotel's, and it is the thing people come back for.

The setting

Where it stands.

Anse Royale is one of the longest and best-loved beaches on the south-east coast, a broad sweep of soft sand with a reef offshore sheltering a shallow lagoon that stays calm and clear. Local families swim here, which is the most useful recommendation a beach can have. The village behind has shops, cafés and restaurants, the spice garden at Le Jardin du Roi is in the hills above, and Victoria and the airport are about twenty minutes north.

The stay

What a week here feels like.

A holiday flat rather than a hotel, and the freedom that comes with it. Nobody makes your bed at nine in the morning. You buy fruit in the village, cook when you want to, and walk to a restaurant when you do not.

Suitability

Who it suits.

Families, longer stays, and anyone who has had enough of resort breakfasts. Also the sensible choice for a fortnight, where hotel dining every night stops being a treat around day five.

From India

What this means for you.

The kitchen is the answer to the question this node gets asked more than any other. If your family is vegetarian, or Jain, or simply wants dal and rice on the fourth evening, a self-catering apartment settles it without a single conversation about what the kitchen can manage. Anse Royale has shops for the ingredients and the lagoon is calm enough for children. Twenty minutes from the airport as well.

The reviews

What guests actually wrote.

Two of the reviews on the listing, in the order Google shows them and in the words they were written in:

My recent one-night stay here was an absolute delight. Nestled right on the beach, offering immediate and effortless access to the stunning coastline.Arnab, Google review
Fabulous place to stay, rooms were modern and clean, kitchen provided everything you could possibly need. The pool was great and used daily by our children. Excellent location with lots of lovely restaurants within short distance.Dawn, Google review

Getting there

How you arrive.

Mahé is the island the international flights land on, so there is no boat and no second flight in the way. The drive from the terminal is between twenty minutes and an hour depending on the coast. We arrange a private transfer that watches your flight number, which is worth having on the night you arrive and not much worth having after that.

The booking

Where the room is actually sold.

Booking and payment happen on SeyBooking.com, the licensed Seychelles operator, on Le Nautique Luxury Beachfront Apartments's own listing there. We are a guide. We take no payment, hold no room and add nothing to the price, and the button on this page opens that listing so you can see the rate for your dates, which is a thing no guide page can honestly print. Most rooms show free cancellation, and the listing says so before you commit.

११Before you book

The six people ask.

Where is Le Nautique Luxury Beachfront Apartments?

Anse Royale, on Mahé. Mahé is the island the international flights land on, so there is no boat and no second flight in the way.

How big is it?

8 rooms and 16 beds, per the Seychelles tourism register. The room types and what is free on your dates are on the listing.

How is it rated, and by whom?

4.9 out of 5 on Google, from 165 Google reviews, read on 2 September 2026. That is Google's figure and not ours. We do not run a rating of our own, we do not average anything, and we do not publish a score we could not show you the source of.

How do I book it?

On SeyBooking.com, on Le Nautique Luxury Beachfront Apartments's own listing there. The button on this page opens it. We take no payment on this site and there is no form on this page, because the room is not ours to sell.

Can you arrange the rest of the trip around it?

Yes, and that is the part we do run. The car, the airport transfer, the days out and, if that is why you are coming, the wedding. Book the room on the listing, then tell us the dates and we will build the rest around them at no extra cost.

We are vegetarian. Will the kitchen manage?

It is a small house rather than a hotel kitchen, so ask directly when you book. Several of the small properties on this island cook to order for guests who ask in advance. What we will not do is promise you something on their behalf that nobody has told us.

Room chosen. Now the week.

Book the room on the listing, then tell us your dates. The car, the transfer and the days out come back in one message, at no extra cost.
