What Raffles Seychelles is.
4.6out of 5903 reviews on Googleread 2 September 2026
Raffles Praslin is ninety villas on a green hillside at Anse Boudin, on the north coast, and it is villas rather than rooms throughout. Most have their own terrace and pool looking out to sea, and guests describe them as genuinely private rather than private-in-the-brochure.
It holds 4.6 from more than nine hundred reviews. The main pool is large and heated, the beach at the foot of the hotel is excellent, and there are several restaurants, bars and a spa. Breakfast and the range of dining come up repeatedly.
Service is the constant theme, warm and personal, and guests keep naming the individual staff who looked after them. For a resort at this level to hold 4.6 across that many reviews says the team delivers on what the setting promises.
Where it stands.
Anse Boudin is at the north-east end of Praslin, one of the quietest and greenest corners of the island, immediately next to Anse Lazio, which is regularly named among the best beaches in the world. It is about twenty-five minutes by car from the ferry jetty at Baie Sainte Anne, and the boats to Curieuse and its giant tortoises leave from nearby. The Vallée de Mai is a short drive inland.
What a week here feels like.
Space, and a hill. Ninety villas over a hillside means buggies and means the walk from the top to the beach is a real one. What it buys is a terrace and a pool with nobody overlooking either.
Who it suits.
Honeymoons, anniversaries, and families who want a villa rather than a room. The Anse Lazio position is the reason to choose this over Lemuria at the other end of the island.
What this means for you.
One of the two great honeymoon addresses on Praslin, and the one with the better beach next door. Anse Lazio is a short walk and is the beach most people picture when they picture the Seychelles, which matters when the photographs are part of the point. A villa with a private pool also means a honeymooning couple travelling with family are not sharing a pool with them. Twenty-five minutes from the jetty, and we can meet the ferry with a car.

We had a wonderful stay at the Raffles Seychelles on Praslin. The villas are stunning, with breathtaking views. The terrace and private pool overlooking the view create truly special moments.Quentin, Google review

How you arrive.
Praslin is reached from Mahé either by the fast ferry, about an hour from Victoria into Baie Sainte Anne, or by a fifteen-minute flight to the island's airstrip. The ferry is cheaper and shows you the sea. The flight is quicker and carries fifteen kilos a person, which is the figure that usually decides it for a family. We can arrange the transfer at both ends so the chain is not yours to assemble.
Where the room is actually sold.
Booking and payment happen on SeyBooking.com, the licensed Seychelles operator, on Raffles Seychelles's own listing there. We are a guide. We take no payment, hold no room and add nothing to the price, and the button on this page opens that listing so you can see the rate for your dates, which is a thing no guide page can honestly print. Most rooms show free cancellation, and the listing says so before you commit.

The six people ask.
Where is Raffles Seychelles?
Anse Boudin, on Praslin. Praslin is reached from Mahé either by the fast ferry, about an hour from Victoria into Baie Sainte Anne, or by a fifteen-minute flight to the island's airstrip.
How big is it?
90 rooms and 180 beds, per the Seychelles tourism register. The room types and what is free on your dates are on the listing.
How is it rated, and by whom?
4.6 out of 5 on Google, from 903 Google reviews, read on 2 September 2026. That is Google's figure and not ours. We do not run a rating of our own, we do not average anything, and we do not publish a score we could not show you the source of.
How do I book it?
On SeyBooking.com, on Raffles Seychelles's own listing there. The button on this page opens it. We take no payment on this site and there is no form on this page, because the room is not ours to sell.
Can you arrange the rest of the trip around it?
Yes, and that is the part we do run. The car, the airport transfer, the days out and, if that is why you are coming, the wedding. Book the room on the listing, then tell us the dates and we will build the rest around them at no extra cost.
We are vegetarian. Will the kitchen manage?
Probably, if you tell them early. A resort kitchen of this size will normally cook vegetarian without any fuss, and Jain is a longer conversation that needs to happen at the booking rather than at the first dinner. We are not going to claim more than that about a kitchen we have not spoken to. If the requirement is strict, look at the self-catering places on this page, where a kitchen of your own settles it.
If Raffles Seychelles is full.
